Texas High School Volleyball - Seguin bounced by Burleson

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) and the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), observed Burleson's volleyball team top Seguin by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Burleson improves its record to 12-14 on the season. The Elks host Centennial (Burleson, TX) to face the Spartans in a 5A Region I District 8 test on Friday, September 26. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 24-10. Centennial lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Joshua (Joshua, TX)

The Cougars now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield Timberview for a 5A Region I District 8 outing on Friday, September 26. Seguin will play a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league win over Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 11-18.
