In Friday's league challenge, the host Orangefield Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kirbyville Wildcats.

The Bobcats (22-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Hardin (Hardin, TX). The Hornets come into the 3A Region III District 22 challenge with a 18-15 record. In their last challenge, Hardin beat Kountze (Kountze, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, October 21. Kirbyville will attempt to improve on its 18-17 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 9-31 record after their 3-0 league loss to Buna (Buna, TX).
