The MacArthur Cardinals volleyball squad (Irving, TX), dropped 3-1 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX)

With the win, Nimitz improves its record to 9-15 on the season. The Vikings travel to Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, October 21. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 25-7. Lake Highlands won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Pearce (Richardson, TX)

Next, the Cardinals meet the Pearce Mustangs (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 contest, on Tuesday, October 21. MacArthur will attempt to move on its 5-16 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 25-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX).
