Texas High School Volleyball - Coronado crushed by Abilene

The Abilene Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Coronado Mustangs to 0 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 16-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A Region I District 4 game on Friday, October 21. Abilene will meet a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league win over Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 32-4.

The Mustangs (12-27) will now prepare for their game against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region I District 4 outing with a 22-17 record. In their last outing, Wylie notched a victory over Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 3-1, in a league outing.
