Texas High School Volleyball - Coronado nudged by Abilene

The Abilene Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Coronado Mustangs to 2 in the Eagles league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cooper for a 5A Region I District 4 game on Tuesday, September 27. Abilene will meet a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league win over Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 26-4.

The Mustangs (11-22) will now prepare for their game against Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 5A Region I District 4 game with a 17-16 record. In their last game, Wylie nipped Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
