The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Madison Marlins (Houston, TX) and the visiting Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX), saw Madison's volleyball squad beat Waltrip by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Madison upgrades its record to 15-6 on the year. The Marlins travel to Sterling (Houston, TX) to play the Raiders in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, October 21. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Sterling lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Carnegie Vanguard (Houston, TX)

The Rams now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Austin for a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Saturday, October 22. Waltrip will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Galena Park (Galena Park, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-9.
