Madison Marlins (Houston, TX) fans went home thrilled Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX), 3-1 in a league game.

The Marlins now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sterling for a 5A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, September 20. Madison will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Carnegie Vanguard (Houston, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 1-5.

The Rams (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Austin (Houston, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region III District 19 game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Austin dropped by Galena Park (Galena Park, TX), 3-0, in a league game.
