The Naugatuck Greyhounds volleyball team (Naugatuck, CT), went down 3-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT)

The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils come into the Southwest-Colonial challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Stratford defeated Harding (Bridgeport, CT), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Greyhounds encounter the St. Paul Catholic Falcons (Bristol, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley challenge, on Thursday, October 20. Naugatuck will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Wolcott (Wolcott, CT).
