Georgia High School Football - Banneker can't hold off McIntosh

October 18, 2024: Peachtree City, GA 30269

McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), 29-22 in a league battle.

With the win, McIntosh improves its record to 3-5 on the season. The Chiefs host Dutchtown (Hampton, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, October 25. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 4-4. Dutchtown won 21-14 in their recent league battle against Morrow (Morrow, GA)

The Trojans now have a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Newnan for a AAAAA Region 3 battle on Friday, October 25. Banneker will play a Cougars team coming off a 38-6 league win over Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
