Maine High School Soccer - Calais nudges Piscataquis

In Friday's league outing, the host Calais Blue Devils soccer squad scored a tight 4-3 victory over the Piscataquis Pirates.
The Blue Devils (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Woodland (Baileyville, ME). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Woodland was edged by Narraguagus (Harrington, ME), 2-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Pirates play the Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 21. Piscataquis will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Lakers go into the outing with a 11-2 record after their 6-1 non-league win over Shead (Eastport, ME).
