The Piscataquis Pirates soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Calais Blue Devils to 1 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Southern Aroostook for a non-league bout on Monday, September 16. Piscataquis will play a Warriors squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, ME). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Calais moves to 2-1 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Schenck (East Millinocket, ME) to play the Wolverines in a 8 Person - North bout on Wednesday, September 18. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 2-0.
