Washington, DC High School Soccer - Sidwell Friends held off by St. Andrew's Episcopal

In Friday's league contest, the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) soccer team edged the host Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC), by a count of 1-0.

Next, the Lions battle the Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC) in a MAC contest, on Tuesday, October 22. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Mighty Hoppers enter the contest with a 7-3 record after their 6-1 league loss to Potomac School (McLean, VA).

The Quakers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Penguins enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, School Without Walls was nipped by Coolidge (Washington, DC), 6-0, in a league contest.
