The Sidwell Friends Quakers edged the host St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Quakers face the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 27. Sidwell Friends will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 4-4 record after their 10-0 league win over McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
