The La Cueva Bears edged the host Capital Jaguars soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Saturday's league challenge.
The Bears now hold a 15-1 record. They play next when they host Santa Fe for a 5A District 2 challenge on Wednesday, October 22. La Cueva will encounter a Demons squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Demons record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Capital moves to 11-6 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Manzano (Albuquerque, NM) to face the Monarchs in a 5A District 2 contest on Wednesday, October 22. The Monarchs enter the contest with a record of 7-11. Manzano won 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
