Kansas High School Volleyball - Basehor-Linwood Shawnee Mission East

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Shawnee Mission East Lancers (Shawnee Mission, KS) and the host Basehor-Linwood Bobcats (Basehor, KS), observed Shawnee Mission East's volleyball team top Basehor-Linwood by a count of 2-0.

The Lancers (21-10) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 19-10 record. In their last battle, Blue Valley North was defeated by De Soto (De Soto, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bobcats now own a 16-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staley for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. Basehor-Linwood will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Liberty North (Liberty, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 13-16.
