Colorado High School Volleyball - Merino tips Wiggins

October 18, 2025: Merino, CO 80741

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) and the visiting Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO), observed Merino's volleyball team hold off Wiggins by a count of 2-1.

The Rams (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Caliche (Iliff, CO). The Buffaloes go into the 2A/1A Lower Platte battle with a 12-6 record. In their last battle, Caliche tipped Vanguard Classical East (Aurora, CO), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 18. Wiggins will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to University (Greeley, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 10-6.
