Colorado High School Volleyball - Wiggins can't hold off Merino

In Tuesday's league match, the Merino Rams (Merino, CO) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Wiggins Tigers (Wiggins, CO), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Rams battle the Sedgwick County Cougars (Julesburg, CO) in a 2A/1A Lower Platte match, on Friday, October 17. Merino will attempt to move on its 13-0 season record.

The Tigers (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Yuma (Yuma, CO). The Outlaws come into the 2A/1A Lower Platte bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Yuma nipped Haxtun (Haxtun, CO), 3-1, in a league bout.
