Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA), observed St. Michael's volleyball team top Notre Dame by a count of 2-0.

The Warriors (28-1) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Chapelle (Metairie, LA). The Chipmunks enter the non-league contest with a 18-10 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Chapelle notched a victory over Chalmette (Chalmette, LA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pioneers meet the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 18. Notre Dame will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 24-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
