The Centennial Coyotes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Kellis Cougars to 0 in the Coyotes league victory on Tuesday.
The Coyotes now have a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gila Ridge for a 5A - Northwest game on Thursday, October 21. Centennial will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over San Luis (San Luis, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 7-7.
The Cougars (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Hawks enter the 5A - Northwest game with a 3-13 record. In their last game, Apollo dropped by Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ), 3-0, in a league game.
