In Tuesday's league battle, the host Centennial Coyotes volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Kellis Cougars.
The Coyotes (12-6) will now prepare for their battle against Gila Ridge (Yuma, AZ). The Hawks come into the 5A - Northwest battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Gila Ridge lost by Ironwood (Glendale, AZ), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ) in a 5A - Northwest battle, on Wednesday, October 6. Kellis will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 3-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Peoria, AZ).
