Connecticut High School Volleyball - Oxford nudged by Ansonia

The Ansonia Chargers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Oxford Wolverines to 2 in the Chargers league victory on Thursday.

The Chargers now possess a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodland Regional for a Naugatuck Valley game on Friday, October 20. Ansonia will meet a Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Derby (Derby, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 14-2.

The Wolverines (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Pomperaug (Southbury, CT). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 6-10 record. In their last game, Pomperaug nipped Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT), 3-0, in a league game.
