Connecticut High School Volleyball - Ansonia overwhelmed by Oxford

In Friday's league battle, the visiting Oxford Wolverines volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ansonia Chargers.

The Wolverines (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against Derby (Derby, CT). The Red Raiders come into the Naugatuck Valley battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Derby lost by Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Chargers encounter the Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Ansonia will attempt to advance on its 2-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 13-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Wilby (Waterbury, CT).
