The Verndale Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.

The Pirates now have a 18-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Underwood for a non-league game on Thursday, October 19. Verndale will meet a Rockets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 14-6.
