The Burlingame Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Northern Heights Wildcats to 0 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bearcats now have a 13-18 record. They play next when they travel to Lebo for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 19. Burlingame will play a Wolves team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hillsboro (Hillsboro, KS). The Wolves record now stands at 28-2.

With the loss, Northern Heights drops to 1-22 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Waverly (Waverly, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a Lyon County outing on Saturday, October 19. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 5-17. Waverly lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Lebo (Lebo, KS)
