Kentucky High School Volleyball - University Heights crushed by Meade County

In Saturday's non-league match, the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) volleyball squad overcame the host University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Green Waves battle the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) in a District 11 match, on Monday, October 21. Meade County will attempt to move on its 15-16 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 4-19 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to McLean County (Calhoun, KY).

The Blazers (6-20) will now prepare for their match against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 29-5 record. In their last match, Apollo was outscored by South Warren (Bowling Green, KY), 3-2, in a non-league match.
