In Saturday's non-league match, the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) volleyball squad prevailed the host University Heights Blazers (Hopkinsville, KY), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Green Waves confront the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) in a District 11 match, on Monday, August 26. Meade County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Frederick Fraize (Cloverport, KY).

The Blazers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Crittenden County (Marion, KY). The Rockets enter the non-league match with a 1-1 record.
