North Carolina High School Volleyball - Freedom edged by Hibriten

The Hibriten Panthers held off the visiting Freedom Patriots volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Panthers now have a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ashe County for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 4. Hibriten will confront a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 league win over Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 10-1.
The Patriots (2-11) will now prepare for their test against South Caldwell (Hudson, NC). The Spartans enter the non-league test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, South Caldwell was nudged by Watauga (Boone, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
