The Freedom Patriots volleyball team (Morganton, NC), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC)

The Panthers (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Ashe County defeated Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Patriots encounter the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 18. Freedom will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
