In Monday's league contest, the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) softball team held off the visiting Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Pleasant Hill moves its record to 15-11 on the year. The Roosters/Chicks travel to Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO) to play the Wildcats in a Class 3 District 14 contest on Thursday, October 5. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 7-25. The Griffins come into the contest with a 10-11 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Ruskin (Kansas City, MO).
