Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Ecole Classique Spartans (Metairie, LA), 3-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans battle the St. Scholastica Doves (Covington, LA) in a Division II District 4 match, on Tuesday, October 3. Salmen will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Doves come into the match with a 8-13 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA).

With the loss, Ecole Classique drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Varnado (Angie, LA) to battle the Wildcats in a Division V District 7 match on Tuesday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 1-4. Varnado lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Amite (Amite, LA)
