Next up, the Panthers battle the Samson Tigers (Samson, AL) in a 2A Area 2 outing, on Tuesday, October 3. Wicksburg will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 5-13 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Zion Chapel (Jack, AL).

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Houston County for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 5. Geneva County will face a Lions squad coming off a 25-20 non-league loss to Abbeville (Abbeville, AL). The Lions record now stands at 1-8.
