Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) and the host Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA), saw Selinsgrove's soccer squad hold off Jersey Shore by a count of 2-1.

The Seals (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Midd-West (Middleburg, PA). The Mustangs enter the Heartland I battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Midd-West tipped Williamsport (Williamsport, PA), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Troy Trojans (Troy, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 5. Jersey Shore will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 1-14 record after their 3-1 league loss to North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA).
