New Mexico High School Soccer - Sandia knocks off Manzano

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Sandia Matadors soccer squad scored a tight 6-1 victory over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Matadors (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Eldorado got by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 4-3, in a league outing.
Next up, the Monarchs play the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) in a 5A District 2 outing, on Saturday, October 5. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 6-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
