The Whitewater Wildcats overwhelmed the visiting Upson-Lee Knights softball squad by a count of 13-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Whitewater will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 13-8 record after their 15-2 league win over Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA).

The Knights (4-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 2 challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Fayette County was routed by Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA), 4-0, in a league challenge.
