In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Lewis County Lions.
The Bluejackets (13-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-15 record.
Next, the Lions meet the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 7. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY).
