In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Nicholas County Bluejackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lewis County Lions.

The Bluejackets (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, Fleming County lost by Rowan County (Morehead, KY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) in a District 63 challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
