The Bandon/Pacific Tigers edged the host Sutherlin Bulldogs soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next, the Tigers face the Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs (Roseburg, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 game, on Tuesday, October 7. Bandon/Pacific will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Monarchs enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 1-1 league South Umpqua (Myrtle Creek, OR).
The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Gold Beach (Gold Beach, OR). The Panthers enter the 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Gold Beach held off Douglas (Winston, OR), 4-0, in a league game.
