The Tigers (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC). The Red Devils come into the Western Foothills 4A/5A match with a 14-1 record. In their last match, Newton-Conover nipped West Iredell (Statesville, NC), 6-0, in a league match.

The Bears now sport a 2-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Lincoln for a Western Foothills 4A/5A match on Tuesday, October 7. Bunker Hill will confront a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-5.
