Colorado High School Softball - Englewood bounces Alameda

The Englewood Pirates softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Alameda Pirates to 8 in the Pirates non-league win on Thursday.

The Pirates now possess a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mullen for a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. Englewood will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 16-12 non-league win over Kennedy (Denver, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-10.

The Pirates (11-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Golden (Golden, CO). The Demons enter the non-league challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Golden overcame Dakota Ridge (Littleton, CO), 21-9, in a league challenge.
