Spectators at Thursday's non-league contest between the Grain Valley Eagles (Grain Valley, MO) and the visiting Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO), saw Grain Valley's softball squad beat Chrisman by a score of 10-0.

With the triumph, Grain Valley improves its record to 22-6 on the year. The Eagles host Platte County (Platte City, MO) to face the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, October 6. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, October 7. Chrisman will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record.
