Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE), 3-1 in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now possess a 24-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. Crete will confront a Vikings team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Gretna East (Gretna, NE). The Vikings record now stands at 20-2.
