Georgia High School Softball - Sandy Creek bested by Troup County

The Troup County Tigers triumphed over the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Trinity Christian Lions (Sharpsburg, GA) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Monday, October 6. Troup County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 13-11 league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA).

The Patriots (5-19) will now prepare for their challenge against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA). The Cardinals enter the non-league challenge with a 11-10 record.
