North Carolina High School Volleyball - Kings Mountain over Ashbrook

October 2, 2025: Kings Mountain, NC 28086

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) and the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), saw Kings Mountain's volleyball team overcome Ashbrook by a tally of 3-0.

The Mountaineers (26-1) will now prepare for their challenge against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders come into the Big South 5A/6A challenge with a 15-8 record. In their last test, South Point gained a win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Greenwave now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forestview for a Big South 5A/6A test on Tuesday, October 7.
