The Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) volleyball knocked off the host Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 3-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Mountaineers now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they host South Point for a Big South 5A/6A contest on Thursday, September 11. Kings Mountain will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-4.

Next, the Greenwave battle the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a Big South 5A/6A contest, on Thursday, September 11. Ashbrook will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Jaguars go into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
