Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros (Garden Grove, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Vaqueros (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Alliance Bloomfield (Huntington Park, CA). The Bulls come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Alliance Bloomfield beat CALS Early College (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Matadors meet the La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) in a Garden Grove challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Bolsa Grande will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record.
