Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) and the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), observed Clinton County's volleyball team hold off Somerset by a count of 3-2.

The Bulldogs (16-14) will now prepare for their contest against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons go into the non-league battle with a 12-18 record.

The Briar Jumpers now own a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer County for a non-league battle on Monday, October 6. Somerset will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Titans record now stands at 10-9.
