The Douglas Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host South Umpqua Lancers to 0 in the Trojans league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Siuslaw for a 3A Far West game on Tuesday, October 7. Douglas will confront a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Glide (Glide, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 5-8.
The Lancers (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Phoenix (Phoenix, OR). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 6-7 record. In their last game, Phoenix gained a win over Hidden Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 3-2, in a league game.
