Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) and the visiting North Mac Panthers (Virden, IL), observed Litchfield's volleyball team top North Mac by a count of 2-0.

The Purple Panthers (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Mt. Olive was knocked off by Nokomis (Nokomis, IL), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Panthers meet the Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 6. North Mac will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 14-12 record after their 2-0 league loss to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL).
