The Panthers (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pawnee (Pawnee, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Pawnee was knocked off by Auburn (Auburn, IL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Purple Panthers encounter the Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL) in a South Central battle, on Thursday, September 18. Litchfield will attempt to improve on its 2-10 season record. The Comets go into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Carlyle (Carlyle, IL).
