The Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting West Iredell Warriors (Statesville, NC), 3-1 in Thursday's league bout.
The Red Devils now possess a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Foard for a Western Foothills 4A/5A contest on Tuesday, October 7. Newton-Conover will battle a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 12-8.
Next, the Warriors battle the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a Western Foothills 4A/5A contest, on Tuesday, October 7. West Iredell will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 8-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC).
